Loomies/A272 run Saturday 9th or Sunday 10th April

A group of us went to Loomies yesterday and we all had a great time so who is up for a ride to Loomies next Saturday or Sunday leaving Buck Barn McDonalds at around 10.30am, please see map for directions.

Loomies is near Alton where the A272 crosses the A32 and if you haven't been there already you will love the roads especially the last bit:

i can vouch for that! i'll be there for sure. hopefully Willdbill will be out too and Cabbie will join him/us

the a272 after loomies is even better than before it.

Be careful Chimpy, greater lean = less speed especially from the apex as the traction is decreased.
CSS/Twist of the Wrist are great.
You will see the racers using opposite countersteer at the apex to allow them to stand the bike up onto the fuller part of the tyre to drive hard off the apex.

You are well fast enough Chimpy without the need for more lean and from memory of the other day you have no problem leaning either :0)

would have done, :( but had an unnerving moment on the bike :( went to pull off from the lights as i was accelerating the bike completed shut down with a single warning light, managed to roll off the side of the road and all seemed fine after switching the ignition on and off. When i checked what this single warning light meant it indicated that the bike thought it had been dropped so automatically shuts down :( lucky i didnt have anyone behind me. Rang BMW today and have to take it in for a check up as maybe a faulty sensor bloody great
