Re: Box Hill
The meet up at Nettos car park is for the South London Boys who will be heading for Boxhill. There will be quite a number of us and Hellraiser mentioned there is a bike show at Dettling(Kent) with stalls and a few bargians which he picked up, so it looks like a pit stop at Rykers.

Re: Box Hill
Sorry lads i was still a bit pi$$ed & confused from my birthday celebrations when i wrote that, Rocket called me earlier today and told me to meet at Nettos carpark Crofton Road (A232) @ 9:00am. From there we will be taking the long route to Box Hill so will probably arrive @ 10-10:30ish? I was gonna take the family to this bike show in Dettling but have now made other plans so i can't make it.
See you at the carpark in Nettos or Box Hill

Re: Box Hill
Has yer bike finished pissin Cabbi lots of old bill about but a great day for a ride sorry you Bill and Rintintin couldn't come down with us . Good stretch on the M25 on the way back apart from the usual sitting in the outside lane , still gave Max a good thrashing until I decided I probably shouldn't be doing these speeds in this traffic

Re: Box Hill
Well gutted the blade sprung a leak from the £135 Samco hoses!
What a load of crap they turned out to be.
Not to worry, I sorted the hoses and fitted a new clutch plus a few other niggling bits I wanted to get done.
Roll on next Sunday.

Re: Box Hill
Really sorry to let you down this morning lads, i was in two minds weather to go anyway and when we got to Nettos and started chatting i nearly forgot about my dilemma with this temperamental Triumph i had just bought... Anyway.
After we left you lot i rode straight home and got on this blokes case about this dodgy bike he sold me, after a long heated conversation he agreed to bring my old GPZ600 back and take his trumpet, by 3pm this afternoon the rotten egg was gone and my little GPZ was back in my garage tucked up safe and warm in its blankey
Feels like a huge weights been lifted off my shoulders,
that was my first and last experience with a brit bike,
once you go jap, there's no going back
Next Sunday anyone?
Hope you got the hose sorted Cabbie, this could be the start of a great summer

Re: Box Hill
Meet up the sites reprobates, Rocket, Hioctaine, Cabbie
Wild Bill and Rin- Tin at Nettos car park. Whlist nattering saw Cabbie sneak off behind a portacabin to have a leak, minutes later his bike decided to have one as well. Rather than dump all his water decided to return home and fix the problem. So just three of us set off for Boxhill on the A25, never seen so many Police giving bikers the eye looking forward to their overtime bunce. Bacon sarnie coffee and a couple of fags could not detract my original plan of Lamb roast feet up watching Moto GP.
Ho-Ho and Jolly giant turned up from their stint in Brighton.
Got back home in time to watch MotoGP.

Re: Box Hill
We set off about 10:45 and a quick pit stop for fuel or was it, my key bent in the tank lock and I couldn’t get it out....panic set in .....
After allot of persuading it came out and I had to hammer it flat again: good jot the woman in Morrison petrol station had a hammer.
Arrived at Box Hill Café, I’ve never seen so many bizzies,, ffs that’s why we cant get a copper when we want one….. Cant they police real crime for a change:..
Here is a pic of the R1 everyone was mooning over!!

Must have just litterally missed us.
I got there at 7.30. Think hoho turned up around 7.50.
He had a smoke then we left. Think it was about 8.05.
I'll be about next weekend if you fancy a run.
