Re: Box Hill
Blimey! What a ride!
Loved every minute of that, shame about the amount of cars round the Epsom race track and those dickhead cyclists that insist on riding 3 a-breast purposefully holding the traffic up, that still didn't put me off.
The ride back was the best ride (for me) this year, took a slightly different ride back through Cheam & Sutton where traffic wasn't so dense and thoroughly enjoyed it, cheers lads, twas a grand day

Yep was a blinding day, I'm getting used to my blade's new suspension now and the cornering confidence is growing every ride, roll on next week.

Re: Box Hill
Hopefully a few more sunny weekends to come before winter gets a grip and we tuck the Blades away in their nice warm blankies. Might see you there in a week or two Mr HogBlade_Hog wrote:Sorry i just sort of get back from mallory park so was no way i could get out today bike still need a wash.

I like it when I'm at the Hill but that ride was pants!!
In fact I had a better ride going to work on Monday morning!.
Traffic jams, temporary lights, closed road detours, more cars than central London and more cyclists than a London to Brighton charity event!.
We need to organise a proper coast and back run where top speed is attained regularly and the radiator fans dont come on at all.
Boxhill just is'nt far enough away and there's way too many non-motorcyclists on the roads

You should join me and hoho on our runs to brighton or goodwood etc.
Nice roads, and we leave early enough to avoid shitty traffic etc.

Re: Box Hill
I'm off to Brands for the weekend.
Some of my heroes will be there Ago and Phil Read. Then of course we have a third superbike race on Saturday which is being tried out for the first time. Another way to generate more revenue perhaps?
