We had a blinding day, went to Boxhill and meet the other guys, had a burger checked out the bikes then rode to Masterbladers and drank all his tea, coffee and beer, then rode home, life is good.

Re: Box Hill
Sorry to hear the bad news Mr Pie, they really are tossers sometimes and will do anything to earn an extra stripe on their arm, and usually at our expense.
I had a good ride with Cabbie and Rintintin down to Box Hill to meet up with a few other Bladers, then unexpectedly bumped in a couple of other mates down there. I was surprised how empty is was considering how nice the weather was, i thought it would have been packed but it was almost empty.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4IV6KolRysE
Then we all went round the M25 to Masterblader and watched the genius at work, MB you really are something else mate, thanks for the hospitality and coffee, will pop round tomorrow to pick up that filter, thanks matey.
A good day was had as you can see
Cheers lads

Re: Box Hill
Sorry guys I could not make Boxhil but thanks for bringing Boxhill to Orpington.
It was Dazblade day as he had been plagued with a persistant fork seal problem over several months. The previous owner had the most peculiar suspenion settings that may have played a part in busting the seals.
Daz has a nice blade that needed some finishing touches and since he was keen to see the carbs serviced and balanced he ended up doing it himself, I reckon this blighter was sandbagging. He will keep us posted on the fork issues.

Re: Box Hill
A ride out to Boxhill would have save me 6 points if I had
seen the post by Cabbie earlier. life is a bitch sometimes!
done a throttle mod on the bike today, I fabricated a metal shim to go around the throttle cam more like a big end shim, I cut a grove around the outside to house the cable it works very well and the 954 is getting very lively to say the least, I'm starting to enjoy it better.
The test was mard a-bit by plod but I refuse to give in to these ppl.
anyhoo as you can imagine the throttle is more aggressive and suits me fine:

Re: Box Hill
Major decision time. Out for Boxhill on Sunday 31st or feet up watching Mugello GP + BSB Thruxton + WSB Salt lake city.
Roast lamb pots carrots peas lashings of gravy with 3 major races temptingly better than a greasy burger at Rykers

Record the racing, have a small burger at boxhill then dinner in the evening while watching the racing, we could all come back for dinner and racing?

Now that is a fookin excellent idea cabbie, Racing & roast!
I didn't realize Mugello was on, what time is the racing on? We could do an early ride to the hill for a brekkie burger and get back in time for the race?
Thanks for sorting out that filter for me today MB, after our long chat today and seeing all the other Blades down at yours yesterday i'm really gonna make an effort to get it finished now, i may even consider selling one of my other bikes to finish it off
