Re: 09 streetracer
Busy few days, repainted the motor and fitted new headers (snapped a zorst stud too :( but got it out ok ) painted the rad in alloy paint and made a stone guard, came out real nice me thinks, got the mesh from "The Mesh Company" this is their grade #8 mesh in stainless steel, they cut to size also, cost £7

Re: 09 streetracer
If you have the wheel almost at the back on the swing arm slots the wheel base id the same, only did a quick run on the 200/55 corsa so not sure what it's like yet but if it's good enough for superstock racing I'm sure it will be ok on the A 272

Re: 09 streetracer
Time to work out the rising rates between swing arm top mount and frame top mount
So set up the blade swing arm linkage and made spacers of 10mm, I plotted the travel from 1 to 13 spacers
This gave equal increments of 5.5mm
Next I set up a guide where the Frame mount will be (couldn't use the MDF pattern as the blade arm hit it ) and plotted the same 13 spacers, I got equal increments of 7.5mm, so need to reduce travel by 2mm
Worked out I need to shorten the triangle by 33mm
Made a pattern triangle to test
This gave me equal increments of 6mm
So, fine tuning the linkage to match the original set up is not that hard, will make set up adjustable dog bone and adjustable traingle get it perfect, first I need to cut the ZX10 swing arm lower lug off and make the new one to be welded on, once thats done I'll make new linkage to give the same rising rate as the blade.
Here's the shock in place, plenty of room for swing arm travel, dropped the swing arm off at shot blaster just now so can get started on the linkage lug for it
