Looks stunning mate.
I love the way the red on the paint job flows perfectly from the bellypan all the way up the seat unit. Absolutely gorgeous bike!

Re: Updating my RRW
well managed to pick this up on ebay for £100 today, ok looks a mess at the moment but its cheap for some aftermarket headers in stainless. Will clean them up and paint them black and will fit a more modern end can. Wanted to do this for ages but didnt want to mod my standard headers when they are too restrictive. More pics when they arrive and the cleanup begins
Anyone know what make they are?

Re: Updating my RRW
OK so the exhaust came through and ive given it a good clean up, removed all the surface rust and painted it with high temp manifold paint. looks better now :-)
I just have to decide what end can to use.. it came with an adaptor so I can mount the standard 3 bolt pipe so will mount my own stubby for now until I decide.

Re: Updating my RRW
Look good there LC a bit hard to tell the manufacturer from the photos, my akra system uses the springs at each side of the connecting pipes.
Theres a guy ive been speaking to on ebay who makes tidy gp style cans, and can make the inlet to suit whatever size needed, including the spring mounts for around £150

Re: Updating my RRW
well other news and after lots of research ive gone for some 330mm front disks. Now these are Japanese from Ebay but before you all say rubbish ive done lots of research and ive not seen anyone say anything bad about these rotors. Couple of people have them on there race bikes also with no issues.
They are made by Arashi and I went for 954 330mm size as I love big disks and they weigh only a couple of grams more than the standard 310mm disks! I also had to have 10mm spacers made for the calipers but I love the look and so far (300 miles later) no issues at all with the disks.

Re: Updating my RRW
No not yet Tone, still thinking about RR8 engine swap tbh but too expensive at the moment still. Think I would have to buy a whole bike use what I need and break the rest for spares to be able to afford it but that seems criminal..
Think I may just end up giving the engine a refresh at some point and perhaps just some mild tuning cams blueprint etc..

Looks good mate, i managed to get a pair of used ebc discs off the bay and im really pleased with the results, paired up with some carbon pads i got from D2moto a stateside based company, a bargain really and i must say they are the best pads ive used so far . The exhaust company is powertechperformance and its simon on 01253 891087

Wow! Looking bloody lovely. Wish I had the talent to do a similar job on my bike. Love the engine powder coating. Hope it lasts well and keep us all updated please. Can't wait to see how it turns out.

Re: Updating my RRW
OK so engine is now out, just need to remove the carbs and starter etc to make it a bit lighter to move and then its off to Mique for a checking over
akro headers and can arrived, need to tidy up the lower strap and change the rivets so it look like new, im also thinking of mounting it higher up in line with the tail. Any know any good exhaust places who could do this down south?

Re: Updating my RRW
ok so new purchase, shouldnt have bought this missus will go mad if she finds out haha
OZ wheel arrived this morning, its very nice needs a good clean. Im going to have to get it lightly blasted I think to remove the dirt before powdercoating but dont want it blasted to heavy as will damage it. Will take it to the powdercoaters and see what they advise it could be ok to powder as it is with just a good clean up.
Got it on the scales, 7.8 lb which is 3.6 kg so its light so happy with that. Couple of pics:
