Re: Updating my RRW
Thanks Fahren, cost wasnt too bad.. Prob could have got a nice 954 for the cost of the bike and what ive spent I guess but bought secondhand parts and some nice ebay bargains plus did 95% of the work myself which helps of course.
Had the photoshoot today, took some pics of the chap snapping away. Just phone pics so not great but you get the idea

Re: Updating my RRW
Thanks Alz, yeah I wasnt sure if I should go white or not but so pleased I did. Bugger to keep clean but worth it
My right hand front fork is weeping slightly through the bottom bolt so ive removed the fork leg to give it back to the chap who built them to sort, just called him and hes away on holiday until next week! looks like shes off the road again already... :(

Re: Updating my RRW
done a few things since shes been "on the road" managed to win on ebay an 09 blade master cylinder for £20 so fitted that, the brakes have a much better feel now but it was a pig to fit on. Ive also had some proper spacers made up for the front wheel so have got rid of the washers I was using, the little lip stops them from falling out when the wheel is removed which I thought was a nice touch.
Also did a little vid

Re: Updating my RRW
Thanks Paul, I don't think it wil ever be finished will always be an evolving project. Would like to look at the engine over the winter perhaps now with some more power perhaps, would love to do a cbr1000 engine swap 08 engine if possible.. was a good one on ebay last week had all electronics with it too for 900. Not looked at it seriously yet just want to ride it for now if we ever get some nice weather again...

Re: Updating my RRW
Its fairly easy Stephen, if your ok at solidering then its a breeze. I have all the wiring diagrams showing what to solder where so send me your email addy and I can send it over?
Ive noticed it does underead the speed slightly now, its shows real speed more or less and has lost the 10% margin the standard clocks had. ie when im doing 40 GPS speed the clocks read 39mph. It must be because the 600 has diffrent gearing.
