I finally bit the bullet and bought them. Went for the Ted as there is some red in the fairings. Did not get the clamps wooooo $70 for clamps can't afford that. Now if the weather would work with me I might get something done and from the sound of things over there u guys are getting horrible weather also.

haha Knew you would Gerald Smile I allmost bought black Tone but decided it was too much like the stock ones so went for the standard blue.

OK stopped raining for 5 mins so wheeled the bike out for another decent photo shoot with the SLR camera

Thanks guys, well it's ready to start now. Waiting for mique he's coming down Tuesday to oversea the grand startup Smile good news is chain is fitted and with more luck than anything it all lines up off the bat!! Perfect job done dance

Bad news can't blead the rear brake the master cylinder is bust can hear it hiss I'm sure it's taking in air very annoying. Love that little unit so ordered another hope it won't take too long.. Had it too long to return it. Also indicators take 10 - 15 seconds to come on then blink quick and settle down.. Think it could be the relay.. Started doing it last year I think.. Any ideas?

I over the moon guys really am Smile Could ride it now.. Bloody freezing though and salt on the roads so will hold off. Plus need to fix the rear brake.

The rear is a bit low, with my bulk on there the undertail is very close to the hugger, ive just rasied it up 10mm on the shock and will add some compression to the spring as it too soft for me as it is. If thats not enough will have to trim the undertail. Job now is making a cardboard template for the pipe mount will then take it round my mate to make me one out of alloy. Im letting it completly cool then will restart and repeat warm up till the fan comes on.

Sorry I was not able to make it your place LC, the road conditions are treacherous here, my visitors are down with flu and yours truly is pi**ed off coz I havent been on the bike for yonks.

Glad to see the bike starting up though it was a struggle for the battery to turn a "dry" engine over, even moreso when you let it tick over to generate heat and did not suffer the Scotty80 syndrome. Did you notice the aroma of the metal being cooked to a higher degree than before???.

The ride would be something else when you twitch the throttle to expereince the response, so you need the hand of a fairy so do be careful.

Thank you for the compliment twas a pleasure as very few owners go to the lengths that you have. Hope you ride with safe miles and smiles mate.

Before you ride out John check the stroke of the master cylinder plunger, ajustment is available and if not adusted correctly will not have the swept volume of brake fluid to create the hydraulic effect. Good hunting.

Thanks Mique shame you couldnt be here but understand. Removed 1-2-3 plugs like you said before I started and turned it over. Didnt want to turn over very quick even with the plugs out! Cleaned them up and replaced, then you saw the start attempted. Have the lipo battery on there was worried with the low temps could flatten it but held up well.

Took it up to 100 (temp not speed haha) and then let the fan come on a couple of times then shutdown. Its completely cooled now so going to do the same again before I ride. Thanks for the MC tips I will give it another try before it hits the bin Smile

The aroma is the ally head being heated to a higher degree similar to a new frying pan, which can be off putting. Your head and twistgrip hand will have to be re-calibtated so would like to have your views on the performance. Mucho Danker

Thanks very much Gerald nice of you to say so matey :-)

Well took her out for a proper run today, did about 60 miles and got caught in the dam snow shower, couldnt believe it!! Managed to get away before too much water laid and shes now been fully cleaned.

Well engine is fantastic, sooo smooth. Only taken it to 5k but its very nice indeed. I went to loomies to show it off. Didnt quite go to plan.. was lovely sunshine when I left home!!

Thanks cabbie, loving riding the bike it's very nimble now can't wait for some decent weather so can tank it over Smile I know it's going to fly also when it comes on power! Going out Sunday weather permitting to put a few more miles on her, she's not starting well though not sure what's up, whether its hot or cold have to try 4 5 times.. Think it could be the lipo battery not liking the cold weather and not cranking fast enough.. Not sure yet need to wait until it warms up to be sure

Yes that's loomies James, was bit quiet today haha
