Its £89 for 7 x 20 minute sessions, normally £99 but we're getting a discount, so when you phone Nick (the number is in the first post) and mention you're with Firebladeriders thumbup

I want in on this Nutty but I have no leathers, just the usual Knox underwear safety meshing top & bottom, Alpinestars boots and textile jacket. Due to me being outta work, I'm not gonna be able to get hold of any leathers any time soon either...

So, will they let me out with that gear ( lol! promise I'll be careful an'all that) or am I gonna have to wait till the bank balance looks a bit better and I can stop sounding like a pikey?

Any strings you can pull for me on this one?

Can't ride a track without a 1 piece suit or a 2 piece zip together with a full zip.
However some tracks rent out gear, so i would say give them a ring and find out

Post by Hanuman Thu 09 Aug 2007, 11:37

For some reason I thought that Cadwell was in Lancashire. Which was going to be very handy as I'm staying in Cumbria from 24-27th and was just going to pootle down to Cadwell on the afternoon of the 27th for the camping.

Now I realise it's a wee bit further cross country.

So my question is - is anyone heading to Cadwell from Cumbria/Lancs on the Monday afternoon? So I can meet up and ride across together? I aint got sat nav and have never been to C'well before and will save me stopping to look at maps or use the tank bag with map/directions pocket on it, if I'm in convoy with others who've been before - and I likes riding convoy cheers

Why not pay Rossi to do the track day for me aswell while I'm at it Wink

I'm looking to lay out a few hundred quid at least for this day - track cost, fuel, tyres and food etc and just thought someone from this forum might be organising the day/know what's been arranged/promised for us.... or something like that.

Is anyone organising this day/know what's been arranged...will there be any instructors? is it a full track for just this forum? is all the info on the other thread on the old forum? Or should I really ring Nick Samson and ask what 'Firebladeriders' are doing? Or am I allowed to post and ask on the thread?

Sorry for all the questions - I'll go away now and stab myself.

Nick Rice is the trackday organiser, I just set a date for all of us.

Its not just a trackday for us, there's not enough names, there's 35 riders in each group so your talking about roughly 100 for the day split into each group ie. novice, intermediate and advanced.

I do know there will be instructors and a photographer, anything else I'm not sure about, will give him a phone tomorrow and get your questions answered.

Cheers

Nutty.

Thanks

I misunderstood - I was under the impression we had the track for the day.

If it's a full day with 100 or so riders I'd expect a tyre fitter to be on site, I'll call myself to save you the expense.

Big thanks for setting this date up for us, it should be a great day.

Thanks again.

Gonna turn up on Sunday BSB Qualifying day with a trailer and several tents. Do we know where to head for, ie have we got an area for Firebladeriders in the camping section where we can all meet up and socialize( Get pissed). Can I keep trailer and car nearby with everything secure for Tuesday. Does anybody want a lift with or without a bike from anywhere between Hastings and Cadwell via M25 and A1. Really lookin forward to it, cheers Alan.

Have just spoken to Nick Rice about camping at Cadwell for BSB and trackday. He is speaking to Cadwell organisers to try to organise a specific camping area for Firebladeriders. I am turning up on Sunday afternoon with 3 tents, two bikes in a trailer and my Terrano, so I'm hoping to park everything near the tents and near the rest of the club. Don't know what usual arrangements are , so hope this helps . Bell me or Haggler for details , cheers Alan.
