I have just got back from watching the boys playing on there track day {firebladeriders track day}....there was some good riding going on.

The air ambulance had to attend as apparently one guy had to get off his bike at the end of the back straight because his throttle was stuck open....this stopped the riding for about an hour...but the guy from MSV said he wasn't that badly injured but they took him to hospital as a precaution...Hope he is ok

The lad that crashed, i think he had pelvis pain, hence why the air ambulance was used.

When i did the first session, i didnt like the track, and wanted to drop into the novice group, (maybe something to do with 23psi in the front tyre)
But it was full, so had to stay in the inter, good move in the end, Mark and Andy were on hand to offer pointers, armed with this info, i went out again and got faster and faster each session, the fastest one was the last.
Thanks also to Lefty and Iggy, who pitched in with a pointer or 10.

I had a great day, good bunch of people and stayed dry for us.

The two guys on the Konica and Repsol bikes, showed how fast a blade can go round cadwell, top job both of you.

WAT A GREAT DAY . . . EXCELLENT TO SEE SO MANY BLADES GOING SO QUICK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ...............

On the first sighting laps the track looks like a little narrow country lane but as the day goes on you get to learn the lines and get faster and faster and the whole thing opens up as the speed piles on ! ! ! . . .

Looking forward to seeing all the pics, Eurozulu or Sparticus as hes been called took over 400 pics of loads of different people. said he will post up as soon as he can !

Well......... I turned up at about 9pm Monday night having just come from a 4 day festival in Cumbria - I was fecking knackered and of the great unwashed - I still have this relentless physcidelic trance baseline going round and round my head from Saturday.... The wife and Baby went home in the car direct from the festival and I arrived at Cadwell with all our camping/weekend/Baby gear in the pick up and the bike in the trailer.

I slept in the trailer cos I couldn't be bothered to put the tent up. Just got up in time to sign on and make the briefing.

I was bleary eyed til my sleep back in the trailer at lunch time and hag a better time after lunch.

Cadwell is quite technical but could do with being longer (as could all tracks)

So that's another track day to mark on the slate Smile

Hope you all had fun.

Great time, thanks Nutty for putting it all together and for Haggler and his mate Steve who put up with me (and my dud mobile phone frustrated ) for most of the weekend.

It was nice to meet you all up there and to put names to faces or is that faces to names!!!

I hope you all got home safely and did not get lost on the way.

Just about recovered from Cadwell. had a fantastic time, mostly thanks to Nutty for organising it, Haggler and Steve for helping me out with stuff and advice all weekend. My mate Ray on the K6 Bandit had an excellent time and thanks to all for making him, Jane and Joseph werlcome on Joe's 14th birthday. Had a quick look at my camcorder video and it's not looking good. Every time the engine starts singing the bloody picture pixelates to my daughters dance practice that I was taping over? Will try to salvage something and post it. Lookin forward to seeing you guys again next year ? cheers Alan.

I agree, big thanks to Nutty for organising shame you couldn't be there. Good excuse though! I'm up for next year - but need to improve set up. Thanks also to haggler for helping me a bit with set up - altering the rear made a difference to the front. Apologies to all that I held up on the track - but damn good fun. A friend of mine also told me that the bloke airlifted off had died at hospital. Was he one of the fireblades? Thoughts go out to the family.
