can't wait to see it

BUT....

did you move the horn anywhere? or keep it on the front of the yoke..

personally I'd mount it behind the radiator ( I used the rad mount bolt!

horns are ugly....unless you're a moose!

Sorry to keep you all in suspenders guys, won't be long now guys Smile

Yep the horn is still where I put it, I may relocate it at some point, I was more interested in getting it finished to be honest.

Nope not ridden it yet due to having to finish the electrics & I've also got to extract a exhaust head bolt that snapped off at the head!

I've been resting up the last few days as I'm done in but I do plan on having it all sorted by the end of the week Smile

Hey no worries matey!

I've not done much last week as I really needed a rest.

Here's a couple of pics of the can, in my opinion it's sticking to far out & I'm gonna need to get a bend welded into it to get the angle right.

Yeah it’s not good is it! I’ve got to sort it out for sure!
Sorry for the wait for the mag, it should be posted up soon...

I sent some pics to some of the companies that I used during the build & the powder coaters (reality motorworks) & Fight Machines (from Germany) who I bought the seat & tank cover from are going to be posting pics of my bike up on their websites. I’ve also been speaking with one of the editors of Streetfighters mag & they are going to do an article on it too! So I’m excited about that....

Laughing That's still a option! I'll get the mot on it & then chop it down a bit shorter or if I can afford it I'll have a bend welded onto the connector pipe.

Hiya mate, no I've put it to one side for the mean time. It may well be something to do with the LEDs but I find it strange that the indicator & high beam LEDs work fine, although the othere 3 are on a different circuit, maybe the I need to fit some different resistors on the ones that aren't working?

What did you do to sort the problem?

Post by griz Thu 11 Jun 2009, 20:29

Well guys the bike is booked in for it's mot tomorrow, I've been doing a bit of finishing off today & once I was done I thought I alt to run it up & down the road a few times to make sure everything was ok before riding it to the station tomorrow....

So there I was sat on it, started it up, clunked it into gear with a big grin on my face! Smile I rode half way up the road & passed about 3 houses turned it around & then road it back down to my house again. I tested the brakes & the rear wasn't doing much so I went up & down a couple more times & then pulled up & adjusted the rear brake pedal & then rode it slighty further up the road to get a more friction on the pads on the road back down to my house, the pads are new on the back & I wanted to slightly bed them in before the mot... Anyhow I then turned the bike around facing up the road & spotted a scruffy women stood in the middle of the road with her arms crossed scratch so I said to her is there a problem? & then she went off on a complete rant! sayin the road is not a race track & that she couldn't hear her lawn mower over the noise of my bike! & that she would ave me & not to mess with her! screwy

I just looked at her with total amazement Suspect I told her not to be so daft & if she really wasn't happy to call the police as I wasn't doing anything wrong, she said she was going to go around all the houses & get a pettion to stop me riding my bike screwy

I just couldn't believe it, the first time I've got to piddle up & down the road & I already been met with a cold reception! I do so hope it's not a sign of the things to come!
