Re: My 94 Streetfighter Project
Sorry griz mate.I been off for a while as per usual.My issues with the led's were on the indicators really.I bought all my led's off the net i think and the resistors came with em.No bother at all with them actually working.I take it,sorry if this sounds stupid,you've got them on the right side?If you want some ,i have some spare i could send you,mine are all 5mm though.

I do go on some other forums yes but the best I can do on here is to recommend that you contact nutty & ask her to post up the mag...

Hiya mate, it's not LED indicators thats a problem, the issues I've been having its with the idiot lights on the dash. I've replaced them with 12 volt 5mm LEDs & there all working fine apart from 3 of them & I think it's becuase the resistance is different on that part of the loom as all 3 are on a seperate circuit from the 3 from the 3 that are workin, don't worry mate I'll get to the bottom of it!
Thanks for the offer of the LEDs mate but I've plenty here thanks

Re: My 94 Streetfighter Project
Sorry mate,thats what i meant,not the usual led indicator thing.I have made a loom from scratch and to be honest i've changed nothing on that circuit side and mine are fine mate.The indicator issue i had was getting my head around how to wire both sides of indicators into one warning/imbecile led light.The offer is still there mate if you want me to put a few to you{just in case the resistors are a different size to yours?}

Re: My 94 Streetfighter Project
Brilliant being able to see the bike in it's entirety Griz.
Personally speaking I think the flat black bodywork was probably a better outcome; anything else might be too busy.
As it is it looks hard as nails, balances the awesome blood red and fits the Punsiher theme perfectly.

Cheers matey!
Well it's past it's mot! & I ran out of time to go get the tax as I spent so much time at the garage chattin with the guys! All the guys there were crowding around it & studying it with great interest they were gettin there phones out & taking pics of the bike & asking loads of questions & as for the mot tester he was wetting his pants jumping on & off it during the mot! I even had one of the younger mechanics ask me not to go as he wanted to look at it a little longer
I'll go get the road tax for it tomorrow morning & I'm off to plymouth on sunday to meet a mate doing a charity ride, I'd like to do it myself but my hand can't handle pulling the clutch in & out with all the starts & stopping. Nevermind I'll enjoy the ride to & from plymouth

Thanks grim1 mate, yep I hear ya & thats the thing I like about fighters, each one is individual to it's creator & when you put in so much time making it look just the way you want it you really don't care if someone doesn't like it
