Re: 04 1000 rr seat unit and rsv swing arm onto rrv
Hi Scotty, any chance of a close up pic of the front mudguard, have managed to get hold of one and going to attempt fitting it, just be nice to get an idea of what the brackets will look like when finished. cheers

Yes no problem will get it off and take some pics of the brackets but it won't be for a couple of days as I don't have the bike at mine

Wot did it cost you to have a link pipe made and does it effect how the bike runs

Hi Scotty,
Just found this thread as I'm looking to fit the 1000rr end to my '98 blade.... I was hoping you could answer a question for me?
I'm looking at your pics and did you end up bolting (and welding) the rear subframe to parts of the original subframe?? I assume that enables the rear tail unit to fit perfectly!!
Thanks,
James.

Re: 04 1000 rr seat unit and rsv swing arm onto rrv
Hi been a while since I have done an update to this as with problems at home with my health and my little ones health I ant had much, sorry no time for the blade but that has changed and have got my mojo back to getting the bike back on the road after been laid up for around a year.
Anyway I decided to go the hole hog and do it the way I wanted it when I first started so I have bought a load of bits off cabbie to complet the build,so I bought the front end and the oz wheels and a few other bits but that wont go into the other bits shall start another thread for that another time anyway here is how it looks so far just got to wait for the tank an seat unit to come back from one off desings next week then its off for a mot then it ill be back on the road
