Front calipers
Just painted my front calipers with Plasti Kote metallic grey and laquer from B&Q. Not black, not same as paintwork, but I like em. Whadya think?
Gonna split em, fit new seals n pistons, polish and coat the bolts shiny and rebuild em.

Re: My new paintwork
Yeah would like the black chrome wheels, but aint got £200, so it's standard black for now!
I did loosen the bolts a bit whilst painting and the masking is still in the cylinders and on the joint faces. I will use a craft knife along the seam when I split them and another coat of lacquer if necessary! Should I stick with the original HT Honda bolts or replace em with stainless?

Oh no mate, don't go over the top with crazy bright colours!
In my opinion less is more, the engine looks sweet when painted black & I would consider doing the cases in the same colour as the bodywork.
In saying that it's all down to personal choice & taste, I'll just put on me shades on blade day!!

Re: My new paintwork
Been making stainless brackets for fairing n clocks. Just bolted it together and if you look closely you can see the top of tacho above fairing! Looks like I'm gonna need a small deflector screen, was hopin to avoid it! whadya think?
The last pic shows fairing tipped forward a bit too much. Whadya reckon if I have the clocks flat? May not be good on a wet carpark?

Re: My new paintwork
Just flat in that last pic mate, can still see em ok when flat. Just might not be good for clock longevity if they're sitting in the rain. Need to make a black deflector?

Re: My new paintwork
How about turning the clocks more upright & raising the headlight unit that bit higher to cover the clocks?

Re: My new paintwork
I'll try again tomorrow, but the top of the clocks are still visible when the bottom of the clocks are touching the back of the light unit, with the clocks at about 45 degrees. The only time you can't see em is when the clocks are laying nearly flat.! Whadya reckon I could use as a small deflector/screen?

Re: My new paintwork
From the front view mate the focal point of your bike is the centre of your
mask, from there the bike explodes out like its bursting through some invisible barrier .
The front fender flowes back and out to the forks then up to that killa mask where the rise on the bars compliment it and radiate out to............... wait a minute.............. whats this???
THEM f**kin HORRIBLE, BIG SQUARE, HIDIOUS, BILLBORD,
AUSTIN MORRIS 1100 VANDEN PLAS REAR VIEW MIRRORS.
Here are a few that I think would look the dogs bollocks with your mask mate and continue its suxy lines
