My new paintwork
Picked up my plastics and tank this afternoon. Well pleased with it A lovely metallic grey/gunmetal colour. Thing is I never thought about decals or pinstriping for it . Can anybody photoshop some ideas for me? Here's a few pix before I fit em to the bike.

Re: My new paintwork
The fairing takes a Gilera Runner light unit mate 50/55W Halogens. Adequate , but I also have two 55watt Projectors to fit somewhere. Think I'll leave decals for a while, but the paint looks relly nice in the sunlight. Will get it bolted up and post pix at weekend.

That looks sweet mate!
Are you doing the seat the same too?
How much did the paint job set you back?

Re: My new paintwork
When I get some more dosh I plan to have a chat with Fringe about a seat design. The paint was done by a mate that works at a car repair place in Eastbourne. they have 4 heated booths and it cost £150 for fairing , tank, tail plastics and rear seat cover. Thought that was really good value? Would appreciate your thoughts Griz when I get it bolted together? does it need any more?

Well it sure looks like they did a top quality job to me & £150 is a great price me thinks!
Bolt it all on & post up the pics, as for needing anymore, I think it all comes down to personal taste.
Since doing the punisher I keep thinking of different themed bikes (a bit like american chopper! ) How about thinking of a name or theme for the bike? I went to my local vinyl print shop & asked if they could print me some designs I found online & they did a great job of it, I just sat on google images trying to find imagies relating to the punisher theme & saved them to my pictures on my computer & then emailed them to the printers & got them to resize them to my spec & choose the colour I most liked, they can also reproduce the image exactly as I found it online but the quality isn't as good as when they print using there own font etc.

Re: My new paintwork
I may stick with my wide, high Gold Renthals mate. Need em high and got angled risers. It all helps my bad back and knees. Could do with being wider as I have some nice grey mirrors to fit instead of my bar end ones!

Re: My new paintwork
Though I'd mock up the bike with the newly painted bodywork. Would appreciate good and bad comments. I will be covering the blue hoses, turquoise shock spring and possibly replace the bars.
Hoping to get some outdoor pix tomorrow and hopefully some sunshine to show off the paint.
