bit of an update
dropped it off at the dyno place last weekend
got a call thismorning, he's run it up and fettled the carbs etc.
he needs some more jets (sewer pipe size) to do the final run, but at the moment its putting out ....
158 RW BHP with the Db killer.. and 160 BHP without.
its got a small rich spot low down that he says I won't notice, but the new jets will go some way to sorting it...rich spot aint there with the Db killer.
he says the engine is sweet as a nut...
so,...looking at the power figures on the Blackbird owners website ,
164 crank (claimed) - 150 RW BHP (claimed) and 132.8 RW BHP (Measured on a 2000 Fi model)....i'm a little chuffed!

looking at the graph...the peak torque plataeu is between 7 and 9k
