bit of an update

dropped it off at the dyno place last weekend

got a call thismorning, he's run it up and fettled the carbs etc.

he needs some more jets (sewer pipe size) to do the final run, but at the moment its putting out ....
158 RW BHP with the Db killer.. and 160 BHP without.

its got a small rich spot low down that he says I won't notice, but the new jets will go some way to sorting it...rich spot aint there with the Db killer.
he says the engine is sweet as a nut...

so,...looking at the power figures on the Blackbird owners website ,
164 crank (claimed) - 150 RW BHP (claimed) and 132.8 RW BHP (Measured on a 2000 Fi model)....i'm a little chuffed!my spondon blade - Page 11 760950

pick it up on Weds evening, complete with the new jets and everything sorted!

happyness!

Love the Dr. Evil laugh at the end RB,

Good result, at those figures torque is more than power anyway, but where in the RPM was it produced?
