New Tools/Tech/Gadgets
I got some cool pipe expanders today and hope to make up my new exhaust soon and it got me thinking.
I keep buying tools and gadgets so......
Here's a thread idea along the lines of 'what have you done on your bike today' thread.
Any cool tools, parts or gadgets that make modding that bit easier?
Examples could be spanners or mini speedos or wi fi coffee makers!
Wadaya think?

Re: New Tools/Tech/Gadgets
Good idea matey!
Ok here's my new mini speedo I bought form china on ebay, it cost £68 including postage.
It's small alright & there are english instruction included but no instructions for how & where to fit the magnet & magnet pickup
I just email the seller & I'm waiting for a response. Also one of the wires were lose & broke away from its soldering point so I'll have to re solder that, no real biggy though.
Here it is.

Yep its not far from the motogadget but I would say its not as well made, as one of the wires was hanging out the back when it arrived, which I've now soldered back in & this one works off a magnetic speedo pickup like a push bike speedo & the motogadget picks up off the electronic speedo sensor & is also able to used with a magnet pickup too. But if your not bothered about messin with magnets its a very cool little unit, don't rush out & buy one yet, let me test it & see how I get on with it first.
It took 16 days to arrive from china & I didn't get charged by customs so thats not to bad. Not great comms from the seller though.
Here's the sellers link on ebay, he has quite a few different clocks so have a look around.

Re: New Tools/Tech/Gadgets
Well as it is at the moment the speedo is a total waste of space!!!
I wired it all up & also soldered the wire that was hanging out of the box, I turned on the ignition & it lit up & then it all went dull again! The only thing that works is all the idiot lights, other than that it's not happening!
I even prised it apart to check everything was ok but all looks ok.
I'm rite peed off :302:
Looks like I'm gonna go buy a speedo for a push bike as I gotta have the bike ready for the show tomorrow, worst case I'll ride it up to the show first thing saturday morning.
