Re: Cadwell Park 21st September 2009
I know the feeling. My funds really shouldn't be stretching to this at all.

Let me know what your plans are and I'll see what I can sort out at my end. It gives me plenty time to sort out the bike
I'm heading away just now but will check my messages later or send via blackberry

Re: Cadwell Park 21st September 2009
I'm travelling down the day before, on the bike unless I get a trailer and tow bar much more quickly than I expect. I'll be staying over the night before and the night after, having a source of free accommodation near the track. My mates are staying at a £25 B&B for the night before only.
Re: Cadwell Park 21st September 2009

Re: Cadwell Park 21st September 2009
The man with the B&B details is on holiday until the weekend, but as soon as he's back I'll get them to you.
Looks like there's a slim chance I might be towing my bike down now.

Ideal - I will have heard from my guy's in Munich
I may have the cash to buy a trailor or take the trailor from my work, not sure yet.
Just need to figure out how to tie the bike on it - do they normally come with a central pole ?

Re: Cadwell Park 21st September 2009
How you tie it down depends on the trailer. Bike trailers usually have something to grab the front wheel and you use ratchet straps to tie it down and keep it firmly upright.
I've seen them transported tied down against the side stand with the front wheel pointed into the corner of a trailer, but one of these would help a lot.

Re: Cadwell Park 21st September 2009
Depends on your plans. I've been offered the loan of a trailer so I can get down myself, but being tight I fancied splitting the fuel.
Looking at the logistics of it makes me think I was being over-optimistic anyway. I'm staying over the night after as well but then need to crack back to pick up the kids in Paisley.

Re: Cadwell Park 21st September 2009
Just have to say, I did my first track day with Hottrax at Cadwell last week and was very impressed with how they run things, far better than the Focused Events ones I had been on before
I can def recomend these guys, and would be there for this one if wasnt working
Enjoy

@Kaiser: What's your plans? (Still chasing my mate for the B&B details).
@Cleedubber: I've heard some fairly odd things about FE's organisation. Other than Knockhill's own days I've never used anyone except No Limits and they're excellent.

Re: Cadwell Park 21st September 2009
Hi taz: Just trying to find out when teh trailor will be back from Liverpool (we have a truck Co down there). I basically have single use of it there after so I'm good for a trailor & enough room for 3 or 4 bikes. Once I know it will be back I'll drop you a note

Re: Cadwell Park 21st September 2009
I did my first trackday @ cadwell earlier this month.
Bit of a learning curve, and I'm definitely a "slow group" rider, but it was ****ing great fun.
Will be nice to the Mrs - see if she'll let me do another one
