Re: My new project mini moto RR8 aka CBR Miniblade.
Well I was on track last night and the flaws that is miniblade have been burst wide open :(
I am just too damn fat for it to propel my arse much more than a trot and also the tyres being treaded/wets were not great for indoor use so I have gone to the dark side and now we will have "Team Miniblade".
Water Cooled:
Air Cooled:
Both have the 6.5 inch wheels and that allows me to buy slicks for track use and the watercooled should be good for dealing with my weight
Further advancements in the saga of Mini moto frolics to come later.

Re: My new project mini moto RR8 aka CBR Miniblade.
Well I thought I had a good deal but got stiffed big time, the watercooled has just cost me £72 for parts to strip the engine and rebuild it due to a water leak on the right side of the casing (flywheel) which in order to replace the seal you have to strip the engine if you do that then you have to change bearings and gaskets and the rest of the seals, add to this a crack at the top of the rad which needs a replacement and ancilliary shit I went with the upgrade kit to ally over steel so all in all the bike should be shit hot once its sorted but at a cost I could have done without :(

Re: My new project mini moto RR8 aka CBR Miniblade.
Don't you just hate being taken for a mug, updates to the above the clutch and carb on the air cooled are fubar as well so its more expense, I could have bought them new for the money it is going to cost me :(
oh well lets hope once they are sorted the enjoyment is worth the cost.
