Re: mini speedo
I've got one of the original Veypor systems{i don't think they are related} and i am well impressed i with it.The only critisizm is that it has too many different options and functions really.Dead easy to fit except that picking the right coil wire to connect to was interesting but no real bother.

Re: mini speedo
Theyre all real kool, especially the one in the mirrors but unfortunately well out of my budget.
Has anyone had a go at using a Cycle computer and getting it thru MOT?

Re: mini speedo
The mirror jobs are so cool, I'd love those but it'd look silly with big gap in the cockpit, but on a proper fighter it'd be fine.

Re: mini speedo
speedo isn't part of an MOT
its part of the traffic act or something...only coppers are bothered if you don't have one...not MOT testers!
I've got a motogadget for the sponny

Re: mini speedo
I had an interesting conversation with Local MOT tester along those lines. But they have to log a mileage too.
Still want to fit summat thats kool without costing too much.
Unless anyone knows different the Vapor seems the cheapest solution without going so lo-tech as a cycle computer.

Are you sure? When I was a tester there had to be a speedo fitted if the bike engine is over 50cc.

Re: mini speedo
Yep, yr right. FBF
Must have some sort of speedo fitted and needs a mileage recorded. Or Cops are notified that yr riding without a speedo!
