Saw Fleurdeleys this morning and this is still on, the only thing that is unlikely to happen is the BBQ.
And yes, Mark, it is weather permitting

Re: Barmouth some time in September ...
I have plotted a route based upon the details in one of Ash's posts that starts at the Quatford cafe and then goes Welshpool, Dolgellau, Barmouth, Snowdonia, Horseshoe Pass then back over to the M6 J16.
Without stops this works out at about 4.5 hours but should be a great end of season runout! From Nottingham it is about 1.5 hours to the Quatford cafe so I would have to leave at about 07.30 for a 9.00 meet. If this is too early then we could move it back? As Nige and Mark have the furthest to travel I suggest that they decide.
I am off work the following week so dont mind what time I get back.
I am gonna do this route anyway I reckon, might be the last chance this year.
Weather permitting

Mark, I plan to go down the A38 so you could come down that way from Lincoln and we could meet in Derby at the Markeaton Park roundabout. If Dazza is coming he could join up with us on the A38 near Burton.
Nige, if you come straight down the M6 we could meet up at Junction 10 (at about 8.30?) before we make out way over to the cafe for 9.00.

Re: Barmouth some time in September ...
Yeah 07.30 is fine Mark. I am basing this time on meeting the Shropshire boys at the Quatford cafe about 09.00.
It should give us plenty of time to complete the route anyway, would be a shame going all that way and not seeing what Wales has to offer.
Picture of suggested route (be patient it is 1.5Mb!)

Are we all off to the BMF Tailend show the day before too? I have never been before but fancy it for a laugh.

Re: Barmouth some time in September ...
Okay, here we go then. I think that 09:00 on the 16th is the business The route that has been produced by Andy seems fine and pretty much the same as was planned. It takes in the Ponderosa aswell at Llangollen. I was thinking that maybe if you all agreed that we could stop at the Midway Truckstop on the way back aswell. It is on the A41 just outside Ternhill Barracks and is well biker friendly I meet Hondachunk and Chick there.
I believe that so far we have ...
Me, Andrr, P900 ajr, Mark11, Clackarepsol, Hondachunk and Hondachick. Does anybody know of anymore that may wish to come along. I know that Gatso was interested, the more the merrier I think.
We need some mobile numbers just for sake of timings. PM to each and everyone that needs them.... Looking forward to this alot.

What do i have to do to get my name on the list then?
Andy, meet up on the a38 is good for me....there is a garage and an old little chef type place in between the Alrewas and fradley junctions. I could meet there if thats ok? Do you know the one? Any rough idea of the time i need to be there?
Cant do the 'tailend'...Bike is in for its 4k service and new front boot on the saturday 15th.
Cheers
