Update,

I made the subframe plates



And chimpy marked out, drilled the holes and fitted the lights, all by herself! cleaver chimpy Smile

now then cool bike , was just wondering , ive been searching for info on fitting the rsv swinger to a 99 blade now bout the 3mm removing of the frame but not sure bout the spacers for the shock triangles and the rear wheel any advise or help would be great , seen this mod a few times now think it looks awesome

Hi, it's a simple fit, just need to grind 3mm off the right inside boss where the swing arm fit's, you can do this by hand as the screw in spacer mates to the swing arm, all the blade swing arm spindle etc is the same so direct fit, next you need 3 spacers made to realign the shock linkages, thats the swing arm done.

If you use aprilia wheel the job is finished, if you use a blade wheel 2 spacers are needed to go from 25mm spindle to 30mm, the disc will need 2mm washers to bring it out and the caliper mount machined to claer the wheel, better off using Aprilia wheel if you don't have access to mill.

And the side mounts too, seat is now done, just welding to finish tomorrow

bikes looking the buiseness there ,was j ust wondering if you,ve ever made any enquiries about maybe differant bearings to suit the rsv spindle in the blade wheel , and if so weather you got anywhere

No bearings are made to suit the blade wheel and rsv spindle, thats why the spacers are made.
