Wifey bought me a double trackday at Cadwell. Isn't she kind.
I've not been on a track properly since a minor off at Croft in pre race testing saw me break my shoulder, elbow foot and little finger
My bottle went and the wobble round snetterton I did after I recovered lasted three laps before I parked up.
I'm in the novice group if anyone wants to point and giggle Smile

This is an old thread!!!
Just a little update on this double header. 1st Lap. I made it as far as the Gooseneck before I lost the front.
Game over (stuffed alternator cover).

The moral of this story. Bed in your new tyres and give them a couple of laps to get warm!!

Bugger! I did my first Trackday at Cadwell in 2007 with FBR.Excellent!!! Best you get some spares together, levers, covers and fit some strong mushrooms, R&Gs.

new pazzo's fitted (lucky find). New bar ends, new grips, new genny cover, new footpegs. Just have to decide what do do with the splits and cracks.

There are often some damaged covers on eBay , good for Trackdays. Or repair it and fit CF covers AND mushrooms?

I've already fitted all the bits I listed. The genny cover was in 3 bits. I did consider some NRG heavy duty jobbies but I think I want to get it back to factory pretty first.
