Just waiting for the track pics to go up.

Yep i brought warmers, no point wasting 2 laps every session.
Bike was fine, had wets on the friday, but it was just a crashfest, on the sighting laps 2 people went off, i gave it up after that.

Saturday was a far better day, did all the sessions, after one changed back to the rennsports, not the best track tyre, but im saving the power ones and super corsa's until the summer.

Used the day just to get back up to speed, after the winter break.

When are you next out ?

I'm there on April 4th, on my rather well used Supercorsas. I should have bought more at the end of last season when they were going for 50 a pair, now they're 80 and I'm skint.

How did you get on with getting back up to pace? I've not turned a wheel since September. :(

Tyres will only be that much until the racing starts, then there will be plenty of scrubs about.

I will do another one with the supercorsa's, as the rennsports were so square i took the paddock stand off and the bike stayed upright.

I didnt get down to the times i was doing on the cbr600, end of last season.

Few pics, just need another day to get back up to speed i think

Nice pics. Is the first on the 600 last year?

Hope you're right about the tyres, I'm going to have to bite the bullet soon. Out of interest what times were you running on the CBR600? Is the R6 very different to ride?

Few things i best say,

The R6 is a 99 with 21,000 miles, was on rennsports for the 12\13th in march. (rather cold)
The cbr600 was a 06 with 5,000 miles, on metzler racetecs in augaust, (warmer) it was a hire bike so i only used it one day.

So drawing comparisions is difficult, its more just seat time on any bike and getting used to it.

But yea i can go faster on this bike, with the same conditions.
Next job is to make it more of a track bike, with the fairing and everything.
I have a set of supercorsa's i was saving for a warmer day, so i will get them on it for the next one.
I have a set of power one's to, with the v profile front, they need trying to.

Yea, the blue bike is the cbr600 i hired.
1.55 on that bike, it was alot warmer though.

Not alot between the 2 bikes, with seat time on either you could bring the times down. hyper

That'll be the profile that my BT016 road wheel front has just now.

You're off to a flying start already.

Hope we end up there at the same time at some point.
