Members routes to Firebladeday 2010
So all of you know, I have listed everybodies general locations on the Comitted attendees thread : https://firebladeriders.forumotion.com/fireblade-day-2010-f99/committed-attendees-for-fireblade-day-if-not-on-list-add-y-t5791.htm
In order for anyone wanting to ride with others to Firebladeday, you can message people in your area, or areas you may be passing by or through or by.
If you're rockard who doesn't get lonely then no bother, but a couple of people have asked so here it is
No racing now!! we want you all there in one piece
I live in North Cambridgeshire and can easily get to the A1, M11, A11, A120, and so on, and have allready spoken with a couple about meeting on the way but please remember I have a black bike so I'll probably loose you
Feel free to reply to this thread to arrange meets on the way.

I'll post a reply soon once i've spoken to a few people... It's game on!
Personally i would like to ride straight through central London (south to north) so if anyone's up for that it would be an idea to meet in the south or kent for 10am'ish, maybe in the national sports center car park at Crystal Palace? Nice location, the old Crystal Palace ruins are great for some pre-meet pictures of the day and it's under an hour away from the Ace?
Any takers????

It's not a dig Bill, but honesty IS the best policy.

I may be up for that, I hope to meet some peeps on the way down but I'd also like to meet up with you, MB and Cabbie if possible, but I'd also like to go through Canary Wharf, up the Highway, East Smithfield , Tower Hill, Victoria Embankment, to Parliament Square, Birdcage walk to Hyde Park Corner, to Marble Arch and on to the Westway A40 to the Ace.
Can also do Chelsea Embankment, Redriff road, A4 to Chiswick instead and meet people coming from the west at Chiswick Honda then ride up the A406 to the Ace.
I'm easy.
I'm thinking a meet for people from M11, A12, A2 and Kent could easily meet me at the Canary wharf drive through Macdonalds E14 then we can lead through my route either way, Then either meet you lot at Bridge Street SW1/Parliament square then we all go together via Chiswick or Marble arch or you lot could easily meet at Canary Wharf too??
It'd be great to have 15-20 blades through the E14 Canary Wharf complex don't you think?

Haggler ®™ wrote:Which way U going??I,m down here in Ipswich.........or are U going the most direct route M11 to the M25??
We can then meet the ipswich / Harwich lot at the pertol station at Brentwood J28 M25 (is it still a Total ? ) for 30 minutes later if thats anygood Haggler ? Danige? and CBRRT ???

We can then all go either A12, all the way to the north circ + meet more on the way? Mickey + co?? or otherwise A12, Isle of Dogs for the Canary wharf fly by , incorporate my route through London + Parliament square, up to Marble arch, or out to Chiswick to meet the rest and up the A406 that way to the Ace??
I know my way around everywhere so no one will get lost if anyone's worried.
Thoughts anyone?

OK gents..........as it stands tonite.............My thoughts are to bimble along the A12 from Ipswich to M25 ,pull into the petrol station just before the M25(have a fag n wait for others)..........then perhaps A12 to the A406,cut round the North Cir to the Cafe.I,m not too keen ploughing straight through London on a Sunday morning ( wrist ache and sweaty leathers come to mind) and with possible numbers it may become tricky at lights n turns if everyone is not on the ball.I,m not saying I wont,I,ll go with the flow but I dont really want to arrive too late and have to fight for parking space!
Anyhow..........I,m easy going so shout out ............so would it be 10.00 at A12/M25 pet station??

Ok. I can leave Norwich around 8.00, be at Theford at 8.30, then either carry on to Birchanger or swing through Bury to be at Ipswich at 9.15ish then on hagglers route from there.

Just to let any of you South London/Kent riders know there will be about 10 of us meeting at the car park in the National sports center Crystal Palace at 10:00am (the entrance on Anerley Hill). If anyone wants to ride up with us taking a fairly scenic route through central London your more than welcome (might as well give the tourists a treat)
Yes my bike is red but i will go extra slow so the black or lesser colour blades can keep up

It would be the quickest for you Mega no doubt coming from there but good for you to meet others at Box Hill and or Crystal Paralysis and on from there.

Good points Haggler, the M25 J28 is a winner for many so I'll meet you there at 10ish as I may be meeting CBR9RRnut at Birchanger and possibly Graham + Exorcist unless they come to you at Ipswich first.
