Streetfighter 919 (bought part finished)
Bought this a couple of weeks ago, partially done and thought it would make a nice simpe quick project! was supposed to be all there to finish...............but as we usually find certain things are missing and other parts don't fit when we finally get round to building!!
Anyway got the build underway, bike had a Motogadget M box fitted and a one off loom made for it, suffice to say there was a wiring issue and nothing worked, came to look into this when bike arrived and one off loom was built all in one colour...RED!...so tracing a problem was going to be difficult, decided instead to start afresh with a stock loom to make sure the bike run and then chop the loom to suit the motogadget M box (many thanks to sideshow bob from custom fighters for talking me through it all and helping me check/test the M box was still working OK )
Anyway bikes all wired in now and have put a list on wanted of bits I will be looking for to finish, here's some pics
Cheers

Re: Streetfighter 919 (bought part finished)
OK thanks, thats just the sort of setup im after for mine, I bet it rather loud isnt it? I was thinking of doing a similar thing but using the cbr1000 90 degree link pipe that bends back around on itself to give some length but not sure there is room under the bike for that..

It's not too bad to be honest mate, still retains that blade whistle on the engine, here's a quick vid I did of it firing up when I first got it before I started modifying the stock loom

Re: Streetfighter 919 (bought part finished)
Thanks for the comments guys, much appreciated
Chainguard was just home made mate using a couple of old headlight brackets and a piece of ally bar cut to length, bent where needed and counter sunk bolts fitted
Got the paint back yesterday, thought the grey was a little bland on it's own so it's now a true FIREblade

Did a bit of a clean up on the carbs yesterday and the motor sounds a lot better, just need to balance the carbs now before it goes to the dyno

Re: Streetfighter 919 (bought part finished)
Thanks for the comments guys, been out a few times on the Blade now and started getting rid of the little niggles that come with a one off build, don't like the risers that are fitted as they bring the bars back towards you making the bike feel even smaller!! front suspension too hard on the damping side of things and a couple of other adjustments to do, other than that it's great fun to ride lifts the front wheel in 3rd and 4th on hard throttle and is light and flickable......................now then where did I put that turbo!!! lol
