Re: Weird Cans
Thanks Dave, may try one either side or two on the right. Gonna be a while before I can do the collector mods.

Re: Weird Cans
I reckon 2 on one side would look best especially if they were slightly staggered in length with the top pipe longer than the bottom one. How about 2 on each side? When I used to ride chops I had 4 straight through drag pipes which gave out a very unique and sexy sound

Managed to get out for a bimble around the Marsh today. I picked a 1/2 mile straight between bends, put my phone camera at the side of the road, switched on and got on the bike. Dunno how to edit it , so the the bit between 20 secs and 2.05 mins is OK??? Whadya reckon??? Double click on the piccy!

Re: Weird Cans
thanks Wes, appreciate your help mate. I normally use IMG code for piccies, should I use Direct Link for videos? IMG works ok on other Forum ?

Re: Weird Cans
Yes it seems to be the way, but i don't know why the img code wont work.

Re: Weird Cans
Am I the only one wondering what forcing the gas out such a small hole might do for efficiency / power?
Does look smashing though!

Re: Weird Cans
The hole is 35mm mate, bigger than the hole in a standard silencer . No signs of any back pressure problems and I can,t afford dyno time for every can I make.

Fair cop
Really does look good I like it a lot.
Liking the idea of a pair at staggered angles too.
Respect is due on the fab skills!
A tip for packing - try acoustafil. Comes as a sheet, wrap once or twice, insert, and it expands to fill the gap. Ideal in all cases but maybe even more useful here where the gap is so small.

Re: Weird Cans
Once I,ve modded the linkpipe, I will be using the other half of this one for an adjacent pipe. Thanks for that tip, I,ll buy some .

Re: Weird Cans
Looks cool Mega, just fitted a German type seat unit to mine and am thinking an angled slashcut would be the biz, see what happens

Re: Weird Cans
Knocked this together today. I had a 60mm tube welded to a washer, 38mm i/d, 73mm o/d. Made the slashcut outta 3" polished stainless tube, 13" long. added a 10" length of 38mm perforated tube and another washer to the end. Just wedged it all together to see what it looked and sounded like. Whadya reckon?

Few more pix of the 3" diameter by 13" long can with a 35mm bore perforated tube baffle and two rings of Accoustafil packing in. Video to follow.

Re: Weird Cans
Certainly sounds nice MW the packing makes a hell of a difference.
