Re: Updating my RRW
Yes it was in MCN, was part of an advert for practical sports bike and they shown my feature. Was a complete shock when I saw it in there haha.
Good news on the rear MC, you need to cut off some of the threaded part as it too long standard. Apart from that fits fine though. Not filled it or tried it yet mind that will come soon

Re: Updating my RRW
well some progress, realy am ready now just need an engine
Got the can back together, very happy with how this came out in the end. Just ordered a new Akrapovic sticker for it to finish it off.
Also put the side pannel back to see how its looks and fitted the mirrors.

Re: Updating my RRW
Todays update
Heat proof sticker on the exhaust, very happy with this. The whole system only cost me £170 which for a £650 system im very happy about.
Also have a carbon hugger for the swinger, got fed up last year spotting new chips in the paint after every ride and want to protect the shock. Not sure if it looks better but will protect it, its carbon of course

Re: Updating my RRW
Well in preparation for the engine back on Tuesday (cant wait!!) I spent out on my final splurge and bought some Samco water hoses which the posty delivered today, need to go to the hardware store and buy some new clips now:
And you can tell the bike is almost done as ive started playing around with other stuff haha. Wanted a leather logo for the back of the leathers so started playing with this, the white letters are just paper at the moment but the black and red are leather (left over from the seat when I recovered it) need to order a small piece of white so I can make the letters and the missus is a wiz on the sewing machine so she's all primed up to stitch this
Quite happy with how its looking

Thanks chimpy, could have stayed all day and looked at his bikes and picked his brains
Gerald wil retouch the black, it's not bad just where it's shown in the pic the oil has go to it. Think I have some of the black casing paint left.. Wish I had done some of this aqua blasting done on it now, very impressed with the finish on cabbies.. Oh we'll allways next year haha
