Re: Updating my RRW
Well after almost giving up on the 929 rear OZ wheel I think ive finally managed to get it fitted.. Need some custom spacers which im having made up but think its all there... many thanks Cabbie for aswering all my PM's
Im taking the front wheel to the anodised tomorrow for the gold treatment to match the rear then I can get the tyre back on and refit!
Also great news on the motor, crank and head are back with Mique and the assembly will shortly begin!! Sold my R1 shock on ebay for good money so for the time being going to get an 08 blade shock on there as they are dirt cheap and upgrade again a bit later. Using the money to finish off the rest of the bike, just ordered new wheel bearings and sprocket carrier bearings (those arent cheap). Ordered some titanium bolts for the yokes to finish the front end off

Re: Updating my RRW
Managed to get the wheel back, now its gold, but it doesnt have the shine of the standard finish.. I think it close enough though.. Cost £50 for reanodising which I didnt think was too bad..
Also have these ti babys for the top yoke to finish it off

Those titanium bolts for the rear disc dont seem to be counter sunk, check them out LC as it may not have the clearence with the torque arm stay.

More Titanium goodies, im getting a bit addicted to these time to knock it on the head.. front disk bolts and caliper bolts. have all Ti bolts on the front end now.. shes going to be lifting up nicely
Whoops... and the 08 shock I dont need now... Better hide this from the missus!!

dirty old mangled chain adjuster... er no thank you sir. Nice new chain adjuster for me
Could resist a pic of the wheel and shock fitted (that wheel isnt beaten to death, its cover in muck from the anodisers I just havent cleaned it off.)

Re: Updating my RRW
It's all looking impressive LC, bet you can't wait for the motor to come back and get it built up again.
I just looked at 08-12 shocks and can't believe how cheap they are. Do they fit your 98, it would be a cheap way to replace the shock if on a tight budget.

Re: Updating my RRW
Just realised why you got that, LC. You have a modded subby so have room for the resevoir on top, as opposed to the remote mounted one that is standard.
