Project minimoto!
Right. ive been racing mini motos for a while now on blatas and cags etc but have never been bothered to do anything with them due to them being too slow. not long ago i bought an awesome 6.2hp polini 911. so now i have a nice bike that im going to keep im thinking of giving it a bit of a makeover.
here it is when i bought it;
its going to be on a shoestring budget but im going to do my best and heres what it looks like so far;
im using the nosecone as a belly pan and it will be white as well as the seat unit that i finished today

Re: Project minimoto!
i can see how popular this thread is going to be
never mind, im keeping my self entertained so im going to go on
today i took the nosecone / bellypan apart and have sprayed it (no lacquer yet though)
i also found this laying around so i thought i would put it to good use, it goes with the theme

Re: Project minimoto!
Nothing wrong with mods on ya mini moto m8 I did the same for my sons blata.
it went from this:
to this:
loved every minute of the make over and on its first outing I stacked it like a pleb and scuffed all the tail but hey its all good.

heres what ive done today. still need to make brackets to hold the bellypan properly though, ground clearance is going to be close but i think it should work

Fancy one my self for a laugh but can't really use it anywhere. My mate has the distributorship for Polini & will be doing a hire & drive day at kirkcaldy with him, he does the academy at Knockhill as well.
