Have had two great weekends riding now that weather has been a bit kinder. Anyone got ideas for a ride next weekend, weather permitting? Never done the Alton ride to Loomies if anyone wants to suggest and lead......

If this Sat is good and i can get out I would suggest a ride to M&P in Oxford good roads . I haven't ridden there in 4 years so memory and directions bit vague but Mck did introduce me to the route

It was more than 4 years ago Springy and beleive it was the b1074 off the top of my head, through Hurley, Henly, Benson and what we've come to identify is Foxs's diner where there is always a big bike gathering.
Will you have the sports chip by Sat?

I know the way to Loomies from down my end, A272 from Cowfold and it is very nice on a good day but need to be careful along the A272 as lots of police blackspots and sometimes helicopters too.
Good fun at the end too :0)

I did meet up with you but just not at Boxhill, sorry about that day Chimpy :0(

And, yes I would meet up with you all at somewhere like the A24/A272 McDonalds and then we can have a great day out again. Saturday is good for me as Jerez on the Sunday, oh and Mother's Day.

it's wicked. last year i had the unfortunate task of working the kitchen on Sundays but usually managed a proper rideout before i started at 11! This year looked to go the same way but i quit smoking so that covers what i would have earned on a sunday...so i quit my job Smile

Well done Chimpy. Keep going. I know it is hard especially around other people smoking but I quit due to my asthma and when I starting Thai-boxing again the two don't mix.
Note to everyone else, DO NOT OFFER CHIMPY A CIGARETTE!! Smile

Going out early 6.30-7am sounds great especially when the weather is warmer and Gill will not have any problems with me spending the rest of the day with her so my only question is: WHEN AND WHERE!! Smile
