eastren invastion of the highlands

how many of you would be interested in heading up to the highlands for a week blasting around all day an few beers in the evering .

it would be june next year an scotish highlands

I was planning on doing just that with a mate of mine who was born in Oban. Either June or July next year?

no point coming up here on your bikes, roads are crap, weathers crap, people are crap, midges will eat you alive and ive drunk all the beer!.. so why dont you go play in Yorkshire instead..

If I go , I'm going in my passat with one or two bikes on the trailer. will be carrying spares, tents and loadsa gear. Call it a support vehicle???

used to go to Fort William each yr with a group from where I live in May. If we do it again next yr, I won;t be up for this, but if its not on I may tag along

a 2 day trip to get to skye and back!...your having a laugh surely mate, its a single days bimble at best, course being from the flatlands you'll need to make sure your bike is able to go uphill
Personaly i would use somewhere other than Skye as a base for touring as you are restricted for rideable destinations..Fort William or Oban would seem a better west coast base to me, or Inverness on the eastcoast.

done a weeks rideing in the badlands of noth wales a few times now, was going to havea week up an about the highlands ride half way one sat an start heading home following sat . as for where im thiking of staying may just b&b it at dif locations .

like i say more the merryer at the moe im just seeing how many would be interested . an after oldyears night be looking moreinto it an keeping you informed

I will be back home in fife for 2 weeks in june and was planing on doing a run up the west coast so i am interested

Not at all, we Scots have to put up with the union jacks being on all Triumphs along with; MADE IN ENGLAND
And on the west coast of Scotland you'll feel at home with all the other southern white settlers
