Re: FIREBLADE FESTIVAL
Just been there today and was talking to the guys.
There are going to be a couple of one off Blades that they will be showing off as well.
Will be well worth going to if you can make it.
They will also have 8 blades that are available for test rides over the weekend as well
Link to event as below
http://www.farnhamhonda.co.uk/events.html
Not to far away from my place as well so anyone is more than welcome to come round for a cuppa before or afterwards
Cheers
Steve

Re: FIREBLADE FESTIVAL
Might pop in myself on the way to the Midlands but I won't be on my RR-P unfortunately. May have to get there early if I do go.
I saw the carbon Blade last week when I did an all day ride out with some peeps. I prefer it with the black wheels and frame as opposed to silver frame and gold wheels. I thought 50 carbon blades were being made in total?

They have got the carbon blades with black frames and wheels as well.
They look ok but must be a bugger to keep clean.

Re: FIREBLADE FESTIVAL
This venue is over the weekend Scotty80 Chimpy and self were planning on Saturday around 11 am. If this is not convenient perhaps a Sunday meet this needs to be confirmed by all of us so we can all meet up once again. Those who wish to have a test ride on the demo blades have to pre-book I for one will have a go as long as they dont ask for my debit card like some of the other dealerships.

Re: FIREBLADE FESTIVAL
Have booked in for a demo ride on Saturday at 12noon.
Despite me informing Heston of Farnham Honda that several FBR members will turn up the bulk book was turned down, each rider has to phone and confirm status. Down side is that I will be acccompanied with their rider. Borrocks.

Re: FIREBLADE FESTIVAL
The gorgeous day was put to good use for the Fireblade Festival.
Messrs Kiwiboy and his mate Colin, DJ1, Ho-Ho, Scotty80, Patchmania Self with mates Al and Mark made it there around 11ish, no sign of Wes or Mike RR. Quite a large turn out with a good selction of restored and current models. John McGuiness, Stuart Easton and Dave Hancock were on hand and went in with all guns blazing when I spoke to Dave Hancock despite booking for a demo ride I was asked for my debit card for the excess of £2000. So I took the tea trolley for a spin, that was a friggin sham particularly when I spoke to Heston about this debit farce he said there wont be any problems. Spoke to Dave again about charging failures on all the generations of blades like a politician never got the acknowledgment or a conclusive answer.
Around 2ish it was off to Kiwis place for some refreshments and view his damaged bike . Here are some pics

Ahh, yeah know the stuff you mean, that's the 3m vinyl, it's pretty expensive but far superior to the run of the mill printed carbon fibre. Still not real though.
