Re: Rideout Monday 17th May
Ermmmm.... Think my next rideout will be next Sunday if the weather's ok, a few of us was planning on riding down to the Isle of Sheppy this Sunday but the weather stopped play, think we're be heading there next Sunday now. I just went out on a little solo today down to MB's to wish him a happy belated birthday, thought i'd try a different route home down the country lanes and managed to get completely lost, loved it

Nothing!!! Don't cross the new bridge; turn off just before it and take the old one. The road on the island side was resurfaced not long before the new bridge was opened and no-one really uses it anymore. Not that I'm suggesting that you could pin the throttle down a nice, near empty road!!!! Comes out at the same roundabout as the new road does.
I would have taken you up on this but I'm off to Devon for the week on the bike. You're welcome to join us if you want........

reeseyboy's right, there's nothing much on the Island, we was just planning on going to Leysdown and having a bite to eat in this little cafe called the coffee pot next to the seafront, been there before and they serve a decent bit of grub.

Is that the one on the left at the bottom of the road? The one with no loo? Nice food there, just no loo!

Hahaha that's the one mate, the one on left at the end next to the pub, didn't know they didn't have a toilet therereeseyboy wrote:Is that the one on the left at the bottom of the road? The one with no loo? Nice food there, just no loo!
You gotta remember we are talking Leysdown so you can't expect luxury's like toilets
And Mega... The ride for us to the Isle of Sheppy is good and (if there's not too many holiday makers) the island has some nice roads on it too.
