Fireblade to VFR chain conversion. Empty Fireblade to VFR chain conversion.

Having fitted a VFR swinging arm to the Blade ,can anybody tell me if there is a rear sprocket off anything that fits the VFR hub as it is a 530 fitting and the Blade is a 525 and i have a new 525 chain which i would rather extend than bin for a new front sprocket to match the VFR chain size.Thanks folks.Fireblade to VFR chain conversion. 162762

You will probably need a special making mate. B&C Express quoted me about £35.

While I was looking for a sprocket I left an enquirey with these people, and they got back to me quite quickly. They will make me a 525 pitch sprocket with 48 teeth to fit my VFR arm for £44ish incl post and VAT. Ask for Jane, she's a top girl and super helpfull.

Thanks for that info mate.The sprocket i got on the VFR hub was 42 teeth.Is this wrong or do you just love to wheely.Fireblade to VFR chain conversion. 162762

Would be nice to see some vids of you on yer beast mate, hope yer coming down to Rye next year. I usually ride with a rear facing camera. You're more than welcome when the weather gets better?
