Police Notice Empty Police Notice

Post by masterblader Tue 15 Sep 2009, 22:09

On Sunday on the way down to Brighton there was a Police Notice on the M23
at the exit of J10 Crawley turn off, immediately opposite on lane 3 was another Police Notice requesting info: on some earlier collision. Cannot understand how such a twat could put a notice at such a dangerous location. Did anyone else see this or was I hullucinating.

Talk about distract fast moving traffic. Can you imagine in our current health and safety era someone crasing at 70-100mph because they were reading the notice?

This should be reported to the "health & safety" people. See if they have any clout.
I agree this is stupidity at its best by the local plod.

If someone did crash, due to the distraction of it and trying to read it, they'd probably be prosecuted for undue care and attention.

On the way to Bury Hill yesterday the same notice was still there. Instead of resolving a collision that notice could cause multiples, the sign was like a news vendor setting up his stall on the fast lane.
Police intelligence!!!!!!

On the way into burnout there was a parked flatbed truck on the main road in... and a nice copper had parked his bike on the offside of it sitting there with his speed gun....

his parents must be proud.. one day he might be promoted to a traffic warden!
