Have been doing this quitely for about a month now. Taking so long due to getting all the bits together.
It's nearly there now, just need to recover the seat, paint the cowl, weld a couple of brackets onto the subframe, fit the undertray and then the fine tunning when thats done and fitted all up.

Well the subframe is down the welders getting the brackets welded on.
Been a slight change of plan with the seat. should be alot better fit and look.

Bit to much of a pain in the arse to fit. Cheers anyway.
Going to get a link pipe made up that angles the can up alot more, moto gp sort of style.

And it should all be done bar the exhaust this weekend when i get back from me mum and dads. (fingers crossed)

nice job :afro: :afro: :afro: . . .

Ive got an '03 R1 tail piece im gonna put on my RRX, is it easier to put a tail section on the blade sub frame or the whole R1 back end including subframe on the blade ???

It looks like you've put the gixer tail piece on the blade subframe ? . . .

I have indeed mate.

Very easy using the blade subframe, all you need to do is chop a bit here and there and get some extra brackets welded on.
Also using the blade battery tray as that way all the original electrics go back in the same place. (obviously that needs chopping about abit aswell).

Can send you some pics if you want.

Right then. The seat is done. cheers cool

Getting a new link pipe made for the exhaust later in the week so it angles up more.

Only minor complaint is that because the subframe is at more of an angle your pushed onto your wrists more. Rolling Eyes

Just need to decide where to put the site stickers now.
