Hi Russ,
Nice to see the belly pan done - looks great.
What happened to the engine cases? Thought they were going black with a swap from the states?

Re: 2008 Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade (Modified).
I was going to do the engine cases but I decided to spend 400 dollars on a tattoo instead of the engine cases :( I will get round to doing them soon enough.
I wanted to get the US ones as they were not in the UK but now the 09 has black engine cases it doesn't make it so unique so I will wait a while and decide what to do later.
hope all is well FBF and just reading the what have you done to your bike thread you have been busy

I thought that about the hugger but when you see it in the flesh it doesn't look too big its perspective I guess.

Re: 2008 Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade (Modified).
The Hugger is the HRC colour coded one they finally released them a couple of months back, notice there is no hole cut in the side which is how the carbon ones are and how I would have liked to match the front but hey ho when I get better with the dremel I may just make my own.
Re the suspension I am going to get it setup by MCT a local place to me, Darren has loads of good recommendations from 100's of people (and 2 month waiting list) so I will wait until funds allow and get that all setup, If he feels ohlins is needed then ohlins it will be.

Re: 2008 Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade (Modified).
I managed to get the Screen, Seat Cowl & Wheel Stripes as part of the deal when I bought the bike (made sure I picked up all originals) the rest I bought as they came available, the prices have all gone through the roof since april at least 20-40 quid extra on each item, the seat is probably the most useful buy out of hondas range as it saves ya arse after a couple of hours riding unlike the OEM seat. The Hugger is available now so your dealer should be able to get them as they come from belgium or somewhere on the continent.
The 1000RR stickers are from a US dealer when I was over there in april as I wanted the genuine stickers not copies. other than that the rest of the bits done to the bike have been where permitting from the UK.
