Re: my cbr
Hi Matt are you running with an early blade engine 92/93?. Also what size are those flatslides? Did run with Erion cams for a while bags of power at top end ideal for club racing then reverted to Church cams which were more compatible for road use as well. Good luck with the racing bud.

Re: my cbr
First the parts are there
4 JE high compression pistons 73mm, the bore will be a 970cm3
I'm looking for an engine to be able to ream the current has 30000km (18000miles), I do not want to ream, I'll keep it as a backup
this year I'm going to control the rear shock, put ohlins spring in the fork and gain the maximum weight on the bike

Re: my cbr
The early blade had a very thin wall supporting the bore insert the safe maximum was that of a 945cc conversion. A later blade from 1996 would be more suitable for your 970cc.

Re: my cbr
with a 893 mm bore 2 is the same thing as 919 in 1 mm
we'll see, at 250 € 4 pistons, I was not deprived me

Re: my cbr
Keep us posted Matt as J&E pistons were the heaviest in relation to Cosworth and Wiseco that were always burning oil.
