Re: Saturday 18th UPDATE
Right ok Mark, just looked on bbc, for weather, doesnt look good, so i think a run into lincoln, rather than chav town.
Think the best bet will be to decide at the green bus, as to were we go.

Re: Saturday 18th UPDATE
Anyone make it out for a run today?
I left swad about 2pm (foolishly) thinking the weather would hold out. By the time i got to Sudbury it was full on pi$$ing it down. Took a slow bimble upto ashbourne then down the via gellia to Matlock for a cuppa. Wish i hadnt stopped though...having to put wet helmet and gloves back on is not fun! lol
Was a nice ride though, had to take it easy cos of the rain but at least i got out.
Ive also been messing around with a route logging program for the satnav which i wanted to test. It logges your possition every minute and makes a file that can be converted straight into Google earth. Give the download a try, see what you think. The waypoint layer can be unticked to remove all the info (speed altitude etc) and make the route clearer.
I might use this on future rideouts if it works ok.
Excuse the crap file hosting site, was the first one i found. (it takes a while to load up the link) Anyone know of a better one?

I went out today, mine was booked in for the carbs to be balanced at 2 this afternoon. Put my waterproofs on and got on with it, enjoyed the ride. only did about 50 miles.

Re: Saturday 18th UPDATE
I went out today....in the rain! Ash we stopped at the cafe, thought I might see you there but perhaps too wet for you, so we went on to crossgates and it dried up a treat, had a good ride (albeit on damp roads) until closer to home when it started persisting it down again, still cold now. Got some video footage from the bike that followed me, uploading now, funny I look alot different on a bike than I thought I looked lol.
