Just did Knockhill
What a ball I had on Friday. (Well... until I started my night shift - I was bloody exhausted for that ).
Don't think I was as fast as I'd got by the end of last year (this is my first track day this year), but I was doing well and overtaking a lot of much newer machinery.
No bad moments for me. Lori, on his brand new RC8, had a bit of a fright - his rear brake locked on and put him in the gravel! However he kept it upright and had no further trouble (didn't use the back brake again though).
The weather was really threatening when we went up there. I left Ayrshire in blazing sunshine and as we headed east the temperature dropped like a stone and was actually spitting with rain as we signed in at Knockhill. As we were waiting to head onto track we could see torrential downpours in the distance, and they looked like they were approaching. And to top it off I'd forgotten my waterproofs!
It stayed dry the whole time.
My suspension handled the track much better this time, since I've reset the sag, although it's still shifting around quite a lot. I'm slowly starting to get closer to hitting apexes, although when I'm pushing I still balls them up a lot (especially at the hairpin ). Nearly wore out my kneeslider.
First video is up here, second video here. I'm happier with this one - I hit one or two apexes!

Yeah, in fact he owns the bullet cam I was using! That's my best riding mate, Graham. The guy on the white RC8 is his ex-brother-in-law Lori.
