Underbraced Blade swinging arm
I've got two Blade arms , pre 99. Gonna cut brace off one and weld it to the other. Would anyone be interested, what colour would you want it and what would you pay for it? Just look how much a Metmachex or JMC costs first.Cheers Alan.

Would I look horribly ignorant if I asked why?megawatt wrote:I've got two Blade arms , pre 99. Gonna cut brace off one and weld it to the other.

Re: Underbraced Blade swinging arm
It's a streetfighter thing guys. basically for cosmetic, bling reasons. I've got a Metmachex brace on my RRW. The two arms on their own are worth nothing on eBay, so I thought someone may be more interested in a double braced arm!

Re: Underbraced Blade swinging arm
Will keep you posted mate. I think it's off a RRS. Don't know what differences there are between older shape arms, 92 to 98, may be just brackets. May get it powder coated but not sure about the affect on the bearings. Do you need anything else as I've got loads of spares. Cheers Alan.

Not many of them will do it. Ask a bike workshop or engineering company.

Re: Underbraced Blade swinging arm
Local powder coaters reckon they coat at 200 degrees c. Will the bearings and seals survive, coz I'd prefer to leave em in. Whadya reckon?
