17" Wheel in RRT
Hi all,
This is probably on the site somewhere but, I have just got a 17" front wheel for my RRT . I know it will fit striaght in but, what profile tyre do you use, 60 or 70, do you need to drop the forks in the yokes and if soby how much, 5mm, 10mm etc
Thanks
Gavin

Re: 17" Wheel in RRT
There is really no necessity to drop the forks or using a 60 section unless you're really a hard scratcher. Your riding style should call the shots and not what others say. When I had a 17" the 60 was much too quick for me so stuck with the 70 section and dropped the forks by 7.5mm this of course was a personal preferrence when I did many track days.

Thanks for that. Think I'll use a 70 section and try 5mm to start and see how it goes
