My old RRP Empty My old RRP

Post by charlatan Thu 26 Jan 2012, 19:20

Scanned from photos, here's my old RRP which I owned from 1999 to 2004. It was US import. When people say they bonded with a bike then in this case it was true. It was like a part of me and I did over 30k miles in that time commuting to and from university and work, going to WSB, MotoGP and BSB races, a bit of touring and Sunday burn ups with mates. It's hard to explain but I felt I could do anything on it, it never let me down, not once. I had to sell it in 2004 due to needing money and it was one of the hardest decisions I've ever made. When the fella who bought it pushed it up the ramp into his van I'm not ashamed to say that I had a lump in my throat. If I knew were it was now and it was for sale, I'd buy it back in a heartbeat.

Love looking through old photos of bikes and cars gone by, would make a good thread! get scanning those old photos and get some pics up of your old bikes.

Good call but I've just checked it and it's not my old bike. After checking my bank balance online a few minutes ago I'm not sure I could afford it anyway My old RRP 950996
