Thinking of riding down to Grenoble and doing the Route Napoleon to Cannes next year dance Anyone been there, done that, got the t-shirt and how did you rate it ?

Went down that way in 2009, loved it mate, the Route Napoleon is a great road, little traffic and some great views.

Did this 3 years ago, well worth doing. From there we headed east along the gorge de Verdun to Millau. Norman's bridge worth seeing.

Hi. first post. And yes I know this is an old thread.

I do this trip every year, sometimes twice a year. The N85 Route Napoleon is brilliant.

We base ourselves (when we get there from Santander) in Castellane, which is right in the middle of where the action is.

Awesome road, did it about 5 or 6 years ago you'll love it. like largeviking also did the Millau bridge which is amazing aswell, enjoy bounce
