Re: My ride 1996 918cc blade
Looks good, I hate my yellow wheels, I thought about having dark wheels with yellow logo or text on the rim, which I think would look cool on yours
The grease and road muck soon make the yellow look grubby, like the the white on my car
I'm a gluton for punishment !

IAM advanced course?? if so they should not compromise over safety, as safety is what all advanced riding is about.
nice 'different' bike by the way.

Thanks sb they wont go out in silly cold weather but i tried these on my mates bike and even in april the numb finger thing can still happen, so for my own comfort and not thinkin my fingers wont move for the brake or clutch anymore i had these fitted, good bunch of guys even the book teaches you a lot that you know but never really put into practice when you start the bike up in my case sometimes When iwent out the other day sb it was on my own no iam about just got fed up kicking heels on sofa whilst on hols.

i got some handlebar muffs for my dr350 and them alone are quite good might be a good combination with heated grips

Re: My ride 1996 918cc blade
The muffs are good so i have heard but on the box it does say be careful installing the mufs and grips together as it can overheat if they are accidentally left on it can be a fire hazard OUCH !!

Re: My ride 1996 918cc blade
The hardest part about an advanced course is sitting at the speed limit !!! TRY IT, I bet everyone on here breaks the speed limit at some point.
My advise to you is; learn to ride at the speed limit and observe EVERYTHING.
After you've passed the test, you can break every rule you want, if you want.

Re: My ride 1996 918cc blade
Will have a look at my mates and nip into local honda shop tomorrow the screen to fairing where the mirrors are bolted on is loose not sure why as it was tight when fitted screen, honda shop will have exploded diagram on parts so will see if anything gone a amiss somewhere.

Re: My ride 1996 918cc blade
Found out the cause it was missing the thin rubber spacers between the outer mirror base and the fairing easy fix cut some rubber matting and fit, all tight now.
