Re: It's been....
wet... ... we've had about 3 days of dryness in the last 2 months, so i know what being wet is all about, anyway, wet riding makes you smoother and faster in the dry and to be honest i could do with the practise.

we've been so lucky here lately, had the last 11 weekends out on rideouts - last weekend the hottest!!! as for riding in the wet, my only two trackdays at Snet were VERY wet and windy, plus did most of my early riding in Portsmouth so am extremely proficient in the wet

It has been quite as all South area rideouts are not advertised on site just PM's

nah it's not clique, we just tend to go out on a Saturday rather than Sunday. lots of peeps got family/other stuff to do so haven't seen quite a few members for a while

call it what you like, but like i said before, PM arranging of rides or whatever is detremental to the well being of the forum and will do more harm than good.. personaly i reckon its still a clique/cliqueish and should be discouraged.

Re: It's been....
Got to agree with Chilli on this one.
Rideouts should be open to all members, not just who you want to turn up
Also it makes it a bit difficult for any new members who want to have a ride out and meet up.

I have proposed several rideouts, but none of you lot ever turn up, even after saying you will turn up!!! FFS

Re: It's been....
Sadly the forum isn't like it used to be. We have had some great rideouts on this forum. Several charity rides that raised quite a bit of money, Haggler's BBQ weekend, Morph's memorial ride etc etc..

Re: It's been....
Exactly, The forum is a shadow of its former self. I dont know just what has happened to it to fall so far from its previous height, but its time we were working together to get it back up there.
Megwatt is quite right to be miffed IMHO, Im just unfortunate now that im back in Scotland and work, time and distance constraints prevent me from joining in planned events the other side of the wall.
