R1 Seat Unit
Hi guys gonna post some pics from the R1 seat unit thats goin on the Blade over the winter. Some of you have probably done this mod but if you have'nt have look.
Got a spare subby for my 97 RRV and a 98/99 R1 single seat unit. I cut of the end of the bottom rail so that I could slide the unit further up.
Then I got my mate to weld some plates in to strengthen the subby.

I am gonna use part of the origional undertray to keep the battery in the same place. This is gonna be a direct replacement cause I am keeping the origional seat unit for goin 2 up wi the missus to rallly's.

I made the undertray and seat base out of 3mm aluminium plate. I will get the unit on the bike and finish the bit around the tank when it's off the road. Hopefully will post more pics once I get the front end sorted and painted together
