Fireblade Day Round-Up
Well it was great to meet a lot of you and finally put faces to names. Was a good day overall except the old bill.
I was really pleased with the turn out and some cracking bikes on display, thanks to all who rode down from the East and lets hope we can get together more for some local rides.
For those I never met or said hi to I am sure there will be a next time
Thanks again for everyone who arranged it and lets hope the next one is as good. Nice BO fringe you illiterate git and whoevers the RWB blade was with the nice overrun

You can say that again about the filth, that'll teach me to take the lead.
As deathace said was good to meet people, sorry to people I didnt introduce myself to, see you next time.
Am well up for a local thrash Russ & anyone else, maybe sort it out for a couple of weeks or so.
Cheers all

I had a top day (thanks again to Masterblader for making it possible for me)
Actually fell asleep for ten minutes sprawled out on the grass at Box Hill
Was good to meet everyone; look forward to the next meet (hopefully next time with less concrete lol).

Re: Fireblade Day Round-Up
Wot a great day it was to meet up with so many members.
A special thanks to Danidge who was the instigator of this meet and to Simon (FBF) for all the hours he spent in setting up this date.
Since this is the first major meet signs are that there will be a follow up with more support as this was only testing the water.
My apologies to guys I did not meet up with but managed to get some pics which will be posted up later . Cream crackered

Re: Fireblade Day Round-Up
I had an awesome day. Good food, great company and more Blades than you can shake a stick at. Definately my idea of a fun day out. Hope to get some of you guys down to a bike meet near me in a village called Finchingfield, the most beautiful little village I've seen. I'll also have to book the airfield if any of you guys wanna do some straight line action. If your interested let me know and I'll see if I can get a date.
I have uploaded the photos from today on facebook. I'll just put them on here also.
Cheers

Re: Fireblade Day Round-Up
I can only say what everyone else has said already...
Good day and good company, great meeting old and new faces but next time we have a meeting lets do it outside London, hate riding in town (probably because i ride through it everyday?).
Like the idea of hiring an airport runway for a day

Re: Fireblade Day Round-Up
I enjoyed the day allthough it was cut slightly short for me. Great to see so many of you, apologies to anyone I missed out, for those I did I tried a wave or nod so see you next time.
The Finchingfield strip day sounds great if it can be arranged Jay??allready some good interest. There's also some great roads round there for the trip over.
Squires will be a good meet as Jane said for those who could make it and possibly also the Donnington revival in september for a FBR tail end meet?
FYI the Ace Cafe's managing director pulled me aside to say what a nice mature bunch we are , with some really special machines (sure he meant mine) They'd love to have us back. We would be made very welcome and he'd like to host it every year for us. He's even talking about giving us some organisational support to run some bike competitions for Best blade etc and will verify our cause to the likes of the big bike chains etc for sponsorship of prizes for the day.
Next year is a long way off but it soon comes round, maybe we'll use a different venue next year and save his offer ?
Time will tell.
Well done Fringe - you've set a benchmark today!
Thanks to everyone!
My day finished with the rear tyre valve popping when I turned in to my road. How lucky was I after a 80 odd mile journey home?

Should try and get the airfeild thing up and running asap, would be good to get some kinda radar set-up so we could all take a few runs and get a print-out of passing speeds, then this "which colour bike is fastest" will be well and truly resolved.
