Re: Squire Cafe 2nd May
well, never got to Squires, went to wolsingham, middletonin-teesdale, alston, hartside, ulswater then just started on kirkstone pass when it happened, i rounded a corner to see one of the lads in the middle of the road waving his arms, and one of the other lads picking his bike up off the road. Screen totally smashed, both mirrors sheared off at the fairing, footpeg totally gone, tail unit left hand side smashed and lying in the road, Haggis (the lad) covered in mud from landing in the grass verge. Luckily no damaged to Hag, just dented pride and broken sunglasses!!!!!! Did get to meet and ride with BrianHaley1964, top lad and top rider, looking forward to the next ride out, hopefully without incident, will post pics soon

Re: Squire Cafe 2nd May
went out for a run with Glyn (repsol) and his mates today we covered a lot of ground at a swift pace and all was goin great until we headed onto the kirkstone pass as we rounded one of the several blind corners we were confronted by the sight of one of the front runners in our group who`s bike was lying strewn in the middle of the road with its pilot on his feet thank god but with enough cumbrian soil on his leathers to fill a decent size window box ( sorry Hag) the bike suffered quite a bit of cosmetic damage but was still rideable so at this point we decided to head back the direct route which was back to Penrith onto the A66 then the A1 home! Glyn and his mates are great bunch of blokes and i hope to have a run out with them again soon only this time with us all keepin it shiney side up

Re: Squire Cafe 2nd May
I spoke to him on Sunday night and he was just pi55ed off, bit achey but otherwise fine, it's not his 1st so he'll bounce back, luckily he has spare fairings so not a great deal to buy and he'll be back up and running in the next couple of weeks. To Brian, glad you enjoyed your run out, I'll drop you a text next time we're out mate.
